The Polo Training Foundation was established in 1967 as a way to continue the tradition of polo in America. It was designed to teach the game to young players, helping them to develop sportsmanlike conduct and an appreciation for the sport.
As parts of its ongoing pursuit of this mission, PTF hosts an international exchange program each year. This unique program invites one polo team from England to visit Wellington, Florida, and affords an American team the opportunity to play across the pond.
The exchange is an opportunity to make new friends and bond over a shared love of polo and horses. Because the goal is friendship, and not competition, players are chosen for their good sportsmanship rather than their skill level.
